PUMPKIN POE
===========

Many, many years ago a young boy named Poe was transformed into 
a scarecrow for stealing candies from the home of a powerful 
sorcerer.

However, the gods of magic were angry with the wizard for using 
his magic in such a way so they made a deal with Poe.

Every Halloween night he will be brought to life and must try to
steal all of the wizards candies again. If he manages to do so 
and amuse the gods then they will force the wizard to break the 
curse and make him human once more!

Be prepared to dodge and bounce over the denizens of the underworld 
who are all ready to do the bidding of the old sorcerer in their 
quest to put a stop to your antics! Make your way through many 
different areas as you try to break the curse that has lain over 
you for so long.

Experience all the thrills and chills of Halloween night in this 
charming (and chilling) platformer from Ariel Endaraues.


INSTRUCTIONS

You begin The game in The midsT of bhe enchanTed wood where you stand, 
motionless, for all but one night of the year - and that night is tonight!

During these few charmed hours you have the ability to move as you once did, 
coming to life to navigate the treacherous, mystical night in a desperate 
quest to reverse the sorcerers spell and make yourself human.

Make your way through a succession of ever more difficult screens as you try
to collect all of the sorcerers candies in order bo please the gods watching 
down on you. If you are having trouble with a certain screen then remember, 
there are often other routes you can take in the meantime until you are 
confident enough to return.

If you succeed in stealing all of his candies then the sorcerer must break his 
spell as demanded by the gods, thus returning you to your rightful human form!

To collect a candy, simply walk over it. Any other items that may aid you in 
your quest can be collected by simply walking over them.

Watch out, though, as the wizard has also cursed many other townsfolk over the 
years, all of whom have been turned into terrible monsters, spooks and ghouls 
and all of whom have the same ability as yourself - they come alive on 
Halloween!

They will try to stop you from completing your task so avoid them at all costs.
If you so much as touch them then you will lose a life and even the gods 
themselves cannot just hand these out willy nilly. Lose all the chances they've 
given you and you'll lose your ability bo return to human form and will have to
go back into the earth until next Halloween, thus losing another year of your 
mortal life!


CONTROLS

O = Move Left 
P = Move Right
Q = Climb up 
A = Climb down 
M = Jump

Navigate the mystical Halloween night using these keys. It is possible to jump 
from ladders, too, and this can at times make certain jumps easier if you need 
to clear an obstacle.

Good luck! With skill and fortitude you can collect all the candies, and make 
Poe human once again!
