STREET GANG =========== HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES? Kick and punch your way through New York City's violent crime ridden streets, ghettos and sewers, in this explosive all action combat simulation. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS Set up your computer as shown in your user manual. Place your STREETGANG tape in your cassette player, ensure that it is fully rewound. If you are using a Sinclair 48K machine type LOAD"" (ENTER) and press play on the tape deck. If you are using a 128K machine first select 48K BASIC from the menu. This game has been tested for use with the following computers; Standard 48K Spectrum, the Spectrum +, the Spectrum +2 and the Spectrum +3. THE GAME No one is safe on the streets! New York city has been overrun by gangs of crack crazed punks, malicious thugs and horrible hoods The notorious 'Curl', feared leader of the most vicious gang, has decreed that no man or woman will cross his Eastside district of the city without being mugged. You take on the role of Mickey Spatsburg, ex-New York city cop, brain surgeon and vigilante street fighter. You must travel to the east side to save the life of a small child who desperately requires surgery. Using your skills in armed and unarmed combat, you must, fight your way across the crime ridden streets of New York, through the roughest, toughest ghettos, construction sites, warehouses and the infamous Central Park populated by bin-dwelling, drug crazed, acid-house tee-shirt clad punks, private dicks and hired bad-men. Initially you will be forced to use your unarmed combat skills to dispatch your drug crazed assailants. However, you may be able to pick up weapons such as rifles, pistols, baseball bats and knives, dropped by your enemies. At the end of each level you can play the bonus level. Choose one of the four bins to either gain or lose a life, gain points or lose your lethal weapon. CONTROLS STREETGANG supports Kempston and Sincliar joysticks as well as a user-defined keys option. LEFT: Mickey runs to the left. RIGHT: Mickey runs to the right. UP: Mickey will jump. DOWN: Mickey will duck or collect a weapon. FIRE: Mickey will use a weapon.
